How to Get CPR Certified in Temecula Without Going to a Classroom
· 5 min read · David Onori

If you live or work in Temecula and need CPR certification, you have probably noticed that most training options require you to drive to a fixed location, sit in a classroom with strangers, and work around someone else's schedule.
There is another way.
I am a mobile CPR and first aid instructor, dual-certified through the American Red Cross and HSI. I come to you — your home, your workplace, your gym, your school, or your community space — anywhere in Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, and the surrounding Inland Empire.
You get the same nationally recognized certification. You just do not have to leave Temecula to get it.
Why Temecula Residents Need CPR Certification
Temecula is a fast-growing community. Youth sports leagues, HOAs, fitness studios, wineries, schools, daycares, and businesses are all expanding — and every one of those environments benefits from having certified people on site.
Cardiac arrest does not wait for a paramedic. The average EMS response time in Riverside County is seven to ten minutes. Brain damage can begin within four to six minutes without CPR. The person most likely to save a life in your workplace, your gym, or your neighborhood is not a first responder — it is someone who was already there.
CPR certification gives you the skills and the confidence to act in those first critical minutes.
What CPR Certification Covers
A standard Red Cross or HSI CPR and First Aid certification course covers:
- Adult, child, and infant CPR — hands-on practice with manikins, not just video
- AED use — how to locate, power on, and operate an automated external defibrillator
- Choking response — for adults, children, and infants
- Basic first aid — bleeding control, burns, fractures, allergic reactions, and more
- Scene safety and emergency communication — how to assess a situation and direct bystanders
Courses are available in blended format (online learning followed by an in-person skills session) or fully in-person. Both formats result in the same certification card, valid for two years.

I personally lead every class, and I come to all kinds of groups throughout the Temecula Valley:

There is no minimum group size. I work with individuals, couples, small families, and large teams.
Red Cross vs. HSI Certification — Which One Do You Need?
Both are nationally recognized and accepted by employers, licensing boards, and regulatory agencies throughout California.
American Red Cross certification is widely recognized and often specifically requested by schools, healthcare organizations, and government employers.
HSI (Health & Safety Institute) certification is equally valid and accepted across the same range of industries. HSI courses are also available in blended format, which can reduce the in-person time required.
If your employer or licensing board specifies one over the other, I can accommodate that. If you are not sure which to choose, I will help you figure it out before you book.
Serving Temecula and the Surrounding Area
I come to you throughout:
- Temecula (including Old Town, Redhawk, Harveston, and Wolf Creek)
- Murrieta

- And throughout San Diego County
If you are not sure whether I cover your area, call or text me and I will let you know.
